Question:

SEO: Does Anyone Make Money From Google Ads?

For about a year now I've had Google Ads posted on my website. Over 25,000 impressions have been shown. But Only $12.00 in my account has been made! And my target are those of very good keywords such as baseball cards.

My feeling is people see ads and don't click them. Are they a waste of time?

  1. Actually, adsense can make some good money.  You need to use the right techniques though; try this ebook, its free:

  2. I hate to disagree with the above comments but displaying google adsense ads is well worth your while and yes you can make money from google ads

You just have to do it right

The most important thing is to stay within googles terms of service, no black hat or click fraud

The second thing is you need to know about ad formating and ad placement [more info at http://www.affiliatemarketingintro.com/A...

Next you need to make sure that you have quality content on your site

Finally drive tons of traffic to the site

If you visit any affiliate marketing forums, you will come across a few webmasters that claim to have made reasonable amounts of money from adsense

    Good luck

  3. I haven't used Google AdSense myself. Mainly because my websites have a different strategies. In saying that: you can still be very successful doing it. I met a few people. Just stay away from arbitrage!

I hate to seem like I'm advertising, but this is the only way I can guide you. This course teaches you everything you need to know about how to do AdSense the right way. And it comes with about 100 pre made templates that work for AdSense (no kidding, these templates are pretty complete and don't look spammy - unlike some stuff I see on the net):

  4. Well ya You can make SOME MONEY

Just depends on how Savvy you are and

If you are LUCKY enuff to have a great domain name

Otherwise a lot of registrarars will kick in ads on a

domain that was registered with them and has expired

They will keep the ones that do the churn for themselves

and YES google does make you jump through hoops in order to collect ssn etc. Just don't give UP!

I have 47 domains that point to my sites and in the past

6 months made like $60.00   This only pays part of the reg

fees But even if it covers part of the cost of my registration

It's a lot better than nothing

Plase could you answer my question  about smoking

    any feedback is appreciated.

  5. Google does.

ad's are annoying & I Never Click on them... if I want something I Google Search for the Item with "low price " and shop like that.

  6. You should try affiliate marketing instead - then rather than hoping that people will click on the ads, you write blogs with keywords that link to sites that will make you money.  Its a lot more work, but will make a lot more money in the long run

  7. You have to be honest in your endeavor.

  8. I've got even more impressions and only a few $ more.  It takes a long time to actually make money.  I read a newspaper article about a guy making $120,000 per year doing ads on his site.  Well, it's not gonna happen through Google, because Google takes such a large cut of revenue.  I've been using for almost a year and only have a few more $ than you in my account.  And what really stinks is that google won't issue you a check until you reach $100.  I'm about ready to give up on my blogs because this isn't going anywhere.

    I feel your pain.

  9. You should read these articles!

They helped me alot now I make about 2k month.

Anyway , why don't you try My homepages friend if you still want ot earn money from the internet. It's free to join and you only have to  search the way you normaly do to get paid. try here  http://www.myhpf.co.uk/apply001.asp?Frie...

    Good luck

  11. It actually depends on how atrractive the ads are. The users on your site wont click the ads unless they are thinking of buying one (the ads shown will mostly be of baseball card shops if you consider your keyword).  But an user may click on ads if he finds some unbelievable offers if such ads are available on adsense.

Second thing which may affect your clicks is the ad placement. Place the ad where they can see it clearly.

Thirdly the size of the ad. if u use a one line thin ad (just the link and no description) it may slip out of the visitors eye.

Also use different colors for ads so they dont mix with the content.

May be adsense referrals may help you if such products are available on adsense. They are quite attractive.
