SEO: How To Find .edu type web pages?

I have a website that relates to real estate. The site is for that of an agent. I'd like to submit the site to .edu type sites that relate to real estate esp in the city of Oakville. How do I go about finding these type of sites? Free or small paid fees are welcomed.

site:*.edu --keyword here--

site:*.edu "local business resources" (for example)

site:*.edu "real estate links" (for example)

...but, .edu is overrated according to everyone I know in SEO.
