  1. you have to know why you are depressed. ( not take medicine. I don't recommend it.)

or go to see a doctor

when I was 15, I had a severe depression and  also tried to kill myself . But I 'm OK now. and I'm sure you will get better

Don't try to kill yourself again. you are precious.

if you need any help . contact with me!

  2. Eradicate the cause of your depression

  3. Don't be afraid of medication, just know the side effects.  With children there is a "black box" warning to be on the look out for serious increase in suicidal thinking. It's a known risk.  However, not treating depression also has a huge side effect of suicidal thinking.

Why would an illness get better on it's own?? If you broke your arm, would you wait and see if it healed itself? Diabetes....just skip the insulin and concentrate really hard on making it go away? Depression is a treatable illness, not alwyas "cureable" but certainaly treatable.

Anyway, all anit-depressants take about 6 weeks for FULL effect, but you amy start to feel better much sooner.

  4. MEDICINE AND THERAPY!

  5. Paxil is a very good medicine. I take it myself for depression and bi-polar. It takes a couple of weeks to get into your system and get the chemical imbalance regulated but I really believe if you will give it a chance it will work for you.  Pills are not miracle workers but believe me sometimes it feels like they are. i have been in your shoes. i tried suicide also and have manic-depressive episodes which are hard to deal with but with my meds i do really well now. I couldn't imagine life without them.. Please talk to your doctor about any concerns you are having And the sexual problems? Everyone is different but I don't have

  6. Hi...   Paxil is a good drug.  I have took it and it helps.  It should help you too.  If not don't just stop taking it but tell your Doc.  Let he or she change your meds.  As for the side affects..  Little to none.  The sexual side affects are great   LONGER lasting erections and you will now bust a nut so fast.. you and your Girlfriend or Boyfriend  will love it.

  7. Take the Paxil CR as prescribed and continue with therapy. Discuss the sexual side effects with your doctor. Your doctor may need to add a medicine to reduce the sexual side effects, or you and your doctor may decide to change your medications. But do not stop taking meds or change your meds without your doctor's approval.

Depression is quite treatable, although when you're depressed it doesn't seem that way. It can take weeks for antidepressants to work, so although there may be a few tough times ahead until your meds are adjusted properly, you will improve. You can also discuss your concerns with your meds in therapy.

I'm not a doctor, but I strongly believe that you have to work with your doctors. They have been trained to treat depression, and any decent psychiatrist should have the experience and judgement necessary to help you recover.

Never change your meds yourself. Just as a side story, I have a good friend who is a psychiatrist who is also being treated for depression. He tried to treat his own depression but did a poor job because he just couldn't make the right decisions for himself. There were too many emotions standing in the way of him making good decisions. Now he sees another psychiatrist and is very good about following the doctor's recommendations. He is doing very well.

In any event, ask your doctor these questions. It's hard to be open when discussing these problems face to face, but you are clearly a thoughtful and concerned person, and those traits will help you address your problems.
