hey pplz im doing an essay for english regarding Taming of the Shrew and 10 Things I hate about You

this is ma q The process of Transformations involves the adaptation of ideas and form to contemporary situations and audiences. How has your comparative study explored this?

The values of family and relationships are completely opposed in the Taming of The Shrew and 10 Things I Hate about You due to the context and societal values of the time. Due to the context and views of the Elizabethan, period Taming of the Shrew focus on marriage and money, with the daughters being a liability to their fathers and need to get married off as soon as possible. Baptista being a good Elizabethan father wants to sell off his daughters to the highest bidder. Kat’s bitter analogy “…Make a w***e of me”. As the values and context of the 21st century, completely contradict Elizabethan times it would be unacceptable to the contemporary audience of 10 Things to auction off the daughters, with the focus being on teenage dating and s*x with marriage and money being less of value. Most teenagers can relate to Walter Stratford’s vain attempts as he attempts to protect his daughters from dating, as he fears indiscriminate s*x and pregnancy. “You can date when Kat does”. Due to the adaptation of ideas to suite contemporary audiences we see how 10 Things had adapted and changed slightly from Taming as Marriage is no longer an issue and plays no importance as the present-day audience of 10 Things is after teenage love not marriage.

thats wat i got basically what im asking is what other views and contexts of both texts can i write about fanx
