SHOULD I SWITCH to union ?

I play rugby league and love it but my team has folded one of my friends has gone to union and i need a new team im not shore weather to go to union or not

Yes of course, it's a much better game....more technical, rucks, mauls...scrums that are contested and not farcical.

Compare the popularity of league and union. The Union World Cup was magnificent and contained many excellent teams. Only a handful of teams enter the League version and many of them are second rate.

As for League being better to watch...compare the viewing figures of both world cups...Union wins hands down.

Mate, give it a go. I come from a league background but at school we had to play onion as well. To be honest it is far the easier game to play especially in terms of fitness levels. For example after I had not played any rugby for years and had had just a few games of league(I was 31 at the time) I was asked to play onion for a team & got picked to play in the centres and I was a second rower. If you are any good at league you will look like a god to these kick & clap lot.

Rolyn eto what are you talking about league is THE greatest sport in the world don't knock what you obviously do not know anything about. Have you even tried RL??

If you bother to state facts RL is the better supported game at top level in the UK, not just armchair supporters. Having a big TV audience for a sport automatically makes it better does it, you are deluded. Soccer attracts Billions but I find it tedious, the only decent Union is played by the teams who are prepared to throw it about a bit. This is what supporters have been crying out for for years hence why they now look to Rl for attacking ideas.

League and Union are both excellent sports, but I have to say Union is more exciting and more nail biting. In union, players break out of big tackles, run down players, awsum kicking and very skillful players setting up amazing plays.

Why don't you give Union a go and if you don't like it, I'm sure you can always go back to League.

stay in League mate while you're still young, when you cant take the pain anymore move to union

if you love league you should find another team. but it would be good to play union for a change. Do you play in the forwards or the backs?? because forwards in union get to have pushing scrums and lineouts which is more fun than league i reckon, most league players do well in union because they bring everything they know from league (bighits)

you should seriously take a good look at it. both games are great
