SHSAT test prep suggestions- anyone who took the stuyvesent exam, any suggestions?

I am in 6th grade now and I am going to take the shsat test in 2009. I know that this is a little early, but any ideas? I dont want to be stressed out next summer so I am looking for some suggestions. Anyone who got into stuyvesent, could you tell me how you prepared? thanks that would help a lot.

how hard is the shsat? which book has the closest tyoe of practice test?
is the shsat handbook serious?

yea go to abc math academy or e math to study for shsat test i got into to stuy wit a 619   i used the barrons math a book to study and dont wory u sud start studing in 7th grade.
