Should i trade my 2003 gmc sonoma for a 1999 ford 250 diesel? extra cab..diesel,auto , power all, 340,000 miles...my 03 gmc is a regualr cab, 5 speed, no power at all, its kinda beat up, and has 77k miles. what do u think, i want to but i just dont know. plz help!!!

Power windows, locks, etc. just wear out and break over time.  340,000 miles (on a diesel or not) is a lot of miles.  That is a lot of turns on ac compressors, water pumps, wheel bearings, u-joints, etc.  Diesel engines last almost forever but you have to think about the rest of the truck too.  Manual trannys are like rocks they almost never break, auto trannys on the other hand have a finite life before rebuilds.  Diesel is close to 5 bucks a gallon and even though your fuel economy should be slightly better it will not be enough to offset the cost difference between diesel and gas.  Diesels are expensive to work on when compared to gasoline.  You have to decide something like that for yourself but if it were me there is no way I would make that switch.
