SIA LICENCE ...what can i do with it?

Mines  for door supervisor and with it I work pubs and clubs. I also get work at open air music festivals and have colleagues who also cover sporting events and Arenas.

The SIA offer different types of training depending on your chosen job within the security industry.

You can become a doormen or security guard, but licences may vary, I am not too sure whether theres only one type or several.

Depends on what licence it is, will say down the side, e.g. door supervisor or security guard. My husband has the one with just security down the side which is basically the lowest rating you can get, he didn't realise at the time it was the same price to get a door supervisors licence but it is a higher rank as such and you will get a lot more work with that and can do a lot more than you can do with just security.
