  1. What is the question?  This is one of my favourite books, realize it is not a factual book.  I recall he changes, dies, evolves, reinvents himself continually.  That is one of the main points.  He crosses the river(life) he is in the river, of the river, dependent of the river, a servant of the river, separate from the river, returning to the river, in love with the river , and ignorant of the river, and he assists others on their paths to same.  Read this book again every few years, see how your answers and questions change.
