SIL from h**l......she has continually done stuff to us...need creative ideas for revenge....

Question

My BIL's live in GF is a *****, she is crazy and jealous of me and has done multiple things to me and my family. Most recently I noticed I had not gotten mail in some time, so after checking with the post office I found out "someone" had forwarded our mail. We have had to put passwords on every single utility account we have after coming home one day to find our cable upgraded to the max. She has called our cell company and cable companies pretending to be me and altered our plans. All things are irritating in nature, nothing truly harmful. She is just a vile and unhappy woman. After the mail trick, what can we do to get her to stop? All the things done can't be "tracked" to her so calling the cops is out. She already has a criminal harassment charge pending anyhow, for her stunts last month and it has hardly swayed her actions. Now she has just used subtle forms of harassment. Any ideas?

I know it will be hard but don't lower yourself to her level. Contact all your accounts and tell them what's going on and you need to place some kind of security in place for anything to be changed and let them know only you are authorized to make changes. Any time accounts are changed you usually have to give private information. Get with all your account's and find out what information you can change that only you will know or have them ask a security question that only you can answer. Good luck.

If you have proof of this its called harassment, get a restraining order on her that if she 'impersonates you' you can bring her up on charges that is mild form of identity theft and you can prosecute her. Call the district attorney's office and talk to them they might just prosecute her themselves.  She sounds like a crazy person. btw make sure the post office has a flag up on anyone changing your address again, have them call you before entering it in the system.

Well, Personally I would give your BIL incentive to  dump her. If they are not married then technically she is not your SIL and I would probably get a restraining order against her. I would let your BIL know he is fine to visit you but, with out her. I know a restraining order only covers physical and if a Judge asked why you want a restraining order I would let him know about the "tricks" she has played in the past and that you don't want her in physical proximity to you and yours because really, why would she 'steal your mail' if not for ID Theft. I would also look into ID protection.

Really you can't get her to stop you can only give her 'natural consequences of her actions' and one of those natural consequences would be not being welcome in your home so, if you have Thanksgiving Dinner then your BIL will have to choose to spend it with you or not.

Start a fake MySpace page about her or put Nair in her conditioner - not shampoo.

I put Nair in my brother's conditioner once. It worked really well.

You have to ignore her and try to just be happy and not stoop to her level. KARMA will get her in time, it always does. Trust me she will pay in spades when the time comes.
