SIMPLE recipes involving ground beef?

K so I am a VERY inexpeiranced cook but have to prepare a dinner tonight with ground beef. Any recipes would be appreciated as long as you dont need a grill to cook it since I dont know how to use one,haha.

    1lb ground beef

    2 cans of cream of mushroom soup (or you can use cream of chicken)

    1 can of vegetable drained (can be green beans, carrots, or corn....you decide)

    3 cups of small tator tots (dont un-thaw them)

    Brown the ground beef. Drain. Put into casserole pan. Add the two cans of coup and vegetable. Mix with ground beef and spread evenly throughout the casserole pan. Add tator tots. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Check casserole. Add an additional few minutes to cooking time if needed.

    Ingredients

    12 ounce bag egg noodles

    1 medium white onion, peeled and chopped

    1 bell pepper, seeded, ribs removed, chopped fine

    3 minced clove of garlic

    Grapeseed oil or olive oil for sautéing

    1 1/2 pounds ground round beef

    Salt

    4 ounces mushrooms, sliced

    1 28-ounce can tomatoes

    1 1/2 cups frozen corn (can use canned corn or creamed corn)

    1 15-ounce can of black olives, strained and chopped

    1 pound cheddar cheese, grated

    Method

    1 Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the egg noodles.



    2 Heat 2 Tbsp of oil on medium high heat in a large, heavy bottomed pot. Add the onions and bell pepper and sauté until softened. Add garlic and cook for a minute more. Add the tomatoes, breaking them up with your fingers or a knife, if you are using whole canned tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes. Lower the heat to warm.



    3 In a separate skillet, heat to medium-high. Add a couple of tablespoons of oil to the pan and brown the meat, working in batches. Break up about half of the ground beef into the pan. Do not stir, but let sit and cook for a minute or two until brown. Sprinkle a little salt over the meat while cooking. Once brown on one side, stir the meat a little to get the other sides browned. Once the meat is thoroughly browned, use a slotted spoon to remove the meat from the pan and put it in with the tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Brown the second batch of ground beef the same way.

    4 Using the same pan that you had used for browning the beef, sauté the mushrooms in the remaining oil and beef drippings. Once browned, add the mushrooms to the beef and tomato mixture.

    5 While the mushrooms are cooking, add the egg noodle pasta to the boiling water. Cook as directed, about 4-5 minutes. Strain when cooked, but still a little firm (al dente).

    6 Add egg noodles, corn, chopped olives, and about two thirds of the cheese to the large pot of beef and tomato mixture. Gently mix in.



    7 Transfer mixture to a large casserole dish, or to two casserole dishes if you don't have one that is large enough. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of casserole(s). Place in the oven. Cook for 30 minutes (can go as long as an hour).

    Serves 8.

  5. This is what my boyfriend and I are making for dinner tonight, although we've made it so many times, we don't even use the same recipe, haha.  This is from Kraft, so it's really easy.

    Cheesy Beef Enchiladas

    -- 1 pound ground beef

    -- 1 (16 ounce) jar TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Thick 'N Chunky Salsa, divided

    -- 1 1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

    -- 1 (12.5 ounce) package TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Flour Tortillas

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Return meat to skillet. Add 1/2 cup each of the salsa and cheese; mix well.

    2. Spread 1/2 cup of the remaining salsa onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Spoon 1/4 cup of the meat mixture down center of each tortilla; roll up. Place tortillas, seam-sides down, in baking dish. Top with the remaining salsa and cheese.

    3. Bake 20 min. or until heated through.

    Yield: 6 servings

    Variation: To prepare in microwave, assemble enchiladas as directed using 13x9-inch microwaveable dish. Top with the remaining salsa and cheese. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH 6 min. or until heated through.

  6. Shortcut sheppard's pie:

    ground beef

    pkg gravy mix

    can of mixed veg

    instant potatoes

    cheese

    Fry up your ground beef, drain, add in your can of drained mixed veg and your prepared packaged gravy mix, put in an ovenproof dish top with prepared instant mashed potatoes and cheese.  Put in oven at about 375 for 40 minutes or so.  Serve with some garlic toast

    You could also fry up your beef, cook some macaroni, combine cooked beef and macaroni in ovenproof dish with some cream of tomatoe soup (straight from the can) cover with crushed chips/crackers and lots of cheese, bake at 375 for about 10 minutes or so.

    Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

    Get all the great taste of a cheeseburger magically baked in a pie.

    1 pound lean ground beef

    1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)

    1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix

    1 cup milk

    2 eggs

    1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 9-inch pie plate. Cook beef and onion until beef is brown; drain. Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with salt and cheese.

    2. Stir in remaining ingredients until blended. Pour into pie plate.

    3. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes.


  8. All you need are three simple ingredients.

    Ground beef

    egg noodles

    cream of mushroom soup

    brown the ground beef (while you are doing that boil the water for you egg noodles)

    Take one can of cream of mushroom soup and add it to the ground beef use one and half cans of milk or water (I like to use milk becuase it comes out creamier)

    Heat until bubbling.  (while this is cooking you should be cooking your egg noodles)

    Add the egg noodles to your hamburger and soup mix.  heat it through a little and serve.

    Sometimes I will add garlic and onion to the hamburger to give it a little more zing.

    It takes all of about 20 mins. to make.

  9. Ground beef in skillet with one diced onion,salt and pepper.Drain and set aside.Boil rice till tender in water with 1 tsp butter.Let sit for 5 minutes to soak up wter then mix in beef.Add grated cheese of choice and wrap mixture in lettuce leaves.Plate then spread a little salsa over top.

Take your ground beef throw in a frying pan, add garlic salt and garlic pepper and add some cumin. cook the meat till it browns (till its fully cooked) then add 1/4 to 1/2 a small can of regular tomato sauce. than take that with some kidney bean, some crushed up tortilla chips and dice tomato on a bowl of salad and you have a "Mexican" salad you can use ranch dressing or thousand island dressing which every one you like best. use that recipe or prepare the meat the same way get some tortillas cabbage tomatoes and onions and make tacos.     Ingredients

    ground beef

    barbeque sauce

    1 can tomato sauce

    onions, diced

    Directions

    Brown meat and onions, and drain. Add other ingredients to pan and let boil, and then simmer 10 minutes and serve on buns.

  12. Cottage Pie. Café Style

    500 grams Beef mince.

    1 Medium onion, chopped.

    1 Carrot, halved and sliced.

    2 Stalks Celery, sliced.

    2T Tomato Paste.

    400 gram can Chopped Tomato and juice.

    1 Chorizo, sliced.

    1/4C Red wine.

    1T Thyme, chopped (1t dried thyme)

    500 grams Mashed Potatoes.

    Brown the mince and remove from pan.

    Cook the onion, carrot and celery gently until tender and stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add canned tomatoes, return mince, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add chorizo, wine and thyme, stir and serve into ramekins.

    Top with mashed potatoes and bake at 200C in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

    Serve with green vegetables.  

    You could skip the chorizo and wine

  13. french fry cassorole ( its very good)

    1 pound of ground beef

    1 small onion

    1 can of cheddar cheese soup

    1 can of cream of celery soup

    frozen french fries

    pepper

    Dice onion and mix with ground meat and pepper to taste. Press into the bottom of a 9x9 inch pan.

    Mix together the two soups. Spread mixture over the meat. Cover entire surface generously with frozen french fries.

    Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes or until done; fries should be golden and crispy.

    Ground beef dinner

    1 1/2 pound ground beef

    1 can cream of mushroom soup

    1 can cream of chicken soup

    1/2 cup rice

    2 1/2 cups water

    2 tablespoons soy sauce

    1/2 cup onion

    1/2 cup celery

    canned French-fried onions

    Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain well. Place in crockpot. Mix in the uncooked rice, raw celery and the rest of the ingredients. Top with the canned french-fried onions. Cover; cook for 4 to 6 hours on low.

    (My favorite cassorole)

    1 pound ground beef

    1 can biscuits

    1 can baked beans

    3/4 cup barbecue sauce

    2/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 350F. Brown ground beef and drain. Mix ground beef, baked beans, and barbecue sauce together and put in casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Cut each biscuit in half and place each biscuit on top of casserole all the way around.

    Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and biscuits are lightly browned. Can be cooked on low all day in crockpot (take out  the biscuits).

  14. Spaghetti or Tacos!

    Get Prego or a Taco Kit.

    Add some garlic bread -or- cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, lettuce respectively.

    Brown the meat and drain, then add either the Prego or the Taco seasoning and water.  Cook.

    Put on pasta or put on taco shells.
