I like to run but lately when I start to run not even 2-3 minutes of running I get sharp pains on the side of my stomach. I dont know if its my appendix or in my abdominal. It doesnt feel like cramps either. I'l try and hold in the pain and keep running but it gets too sharp and painful I have to slow down or stop completly. Does anyone know what can it be or whats causing it. The pain only happens when I run, or walk quickly. Please help so I can enjoy running again. Thanx :)

  1. Im not an expert in this area, but it could possibly be a hernia. They are quite common. You will need to go to your doctor for this and get an ultrasound.

I do recommend going to the doctor though and getting this examined straight away, pain is not normal and if it is stopping you from exercise then it needs to be treated.  It its pain in your stomach area then it could be serious (no need to alarm), but just saying get this checked now and dont dwell on it.
