  1. All you need to do is just get your board and practice every day and never let fear get over you you have a fresh start dont let fear come it screws up your progress a lot and makes you a lot more frustrated and some one told me that banananas help balance or somethin so eat those. and rember skateboarding get a little dangerous ****keep that in mind *****

GOOD LUCK HOPE THIS HELPED AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR SKATEING ANY SKATEING QUESTIONS ILL BE SURE TO TRY AND ANSWER THEM!!!

  2. ok, first, you can start out by working out everyother day. because to give a little constructive critcism, it'll be hard to get tricks done. so you can start out by doing a lot of cardio. right when you get up in the moring, go on a thirty-hour jog atleast 5xs a week. watch your meals.

make sure its 3 meals a day instead of 5-or more-snacks a day. and work out every other day for atleast thrity minutes. and work alot of legs and abs. legs because thats what you'll be using when you flick the board, abs, because it mainly has all the fat in your stomache.

after you start seeing progress, then start trying to skate.

for you skateboard, if its your first, dont get a walmart or target one. (in other words dont get a FAKE one) i wouldnt suggest getting a great or expensive one because its your first board and for your first time skating. so id suggest getting one $80- $120.

for the deck, dont worry about getting a team board, because those ones are expensive. get one like goodwood or speeddemon. one thats in the $30 range. make sure the size if your tall with big feet, get something around 7.75-8.0. if your small or with small feet, get one between 7.0-7.625. the reason you want a big board if you're tall, is that way you have landing room, but you dont want it too big that way you can flick the tricks faster and higher. you want a small board when you're small or have small feet is so that way you can flick the board easier and its not as heavy.

for trucks, get good ones, also ones that are on the cheap side. id suggest going with ventures. they're lighter, cheap, and durable. make sure they are lows or atleast meds. otherwise if they're highs, it'll be TOO high.

for wheels, it doesn't really matter what kind as long as you get a good size. go between 47mm-53mm. i normally use rictas darkstars or bones. but thats my personal opinion.

for bearings, to be honest, luckys swiss and black panthers are the best but they are EXTREMELY expensive and i dont think you need that great of bearings. so go with reds. they last long and are actually pretty good. plus they're cheap.

this is an alternative, if you want your board to last longer, i would suggest getting risers that go under your trucks.

when you start getting better where you can atleast do an ollie, kickflip, heelflip, manual, etc. then id say to get a new deck, one thats team named sicne they're more durable and lighter. but stick with your wheels, trucks, and bearings (and risers if boughten) because they last long and stay goooood.

(i know you didnt ask this but for any other help:)

to learn new stuff, go on youtube and watch how to videos, skate with alot of other GOOD skaters that can teach you well. and the obvious, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!!!!
