  1. The best solution is for you to go to a demo days and try the different brands and models on the same day and under the same conditions.  The amount you will spend for the demo is usually at least partially applied to the purchase price.

  2. First of all try to shorten your list by visiting the manfacturers' websites. Your ability is vital. Some of those skis are not going to match your ability.

Then go to a ski shop which hires/demos some of those skis. Talk to someone knowledgeable and then demo one or two of them. Nothing beats trying them out. They should take the hire price off the skis if you buy them.

Finally remember that the best ski in the end is often the one with 50% off!

  3. Lines are really good... i have a pair. They are very flexible and lightweight, so the only problem is that if you are heavier, ski in powder, or ski in cruddy snow they might not be stiff enough or wide enough. Rossi scratch FS i have heard are very good, same as K2 MssDemeanor ( I almost bought a pair, i kind of wish that i did. Plus, their graphics are really cool, what's better than killer squirrels and pugs?)

  4. I have rossi's now. But my tiwn tips are lines they are great. All are good but roxy ive never heard of good comments on there type. but you should be better off with any of them. It really depends what type of skiing your doing.

  5. I Completely go buy name brand skii equipment and clothing!!  I have been skiiing for 5 years!! i rented skiis untile last year.  I bought a pair of Rossignols and I love then they are stable and are awsome with speed.  They are good with terrain and jumps. Any kind of snow or ice they are controlable.  I liked the K2 but they didnt seem as durable.

    Good luck and Have fun!!
