Question:

SKIERS. How's my Form?

This is kind of a lame shot and I stole it off of Beaver Creek's website. How's my form? I feel like I look like somebody from a lame Ski School Ad. I'm on a fairly easy slope, but what do you think?

  1. Not to bad.  Get some more flex in your ankles which will force you to get some more flex in your knees.  this will stop the UP problem.  Really feel the tongue of your boot against the front of your ankle.  Getting forward with your weight helps in so many ways.  You get more weight on your turn and it helps you carve the turn.  Get those skis to really lay on edge and carve one good turn and it will really open your eyes to what skiing is all about. Of course you probably have done this already.  the most important thing is to put in the time on the snow.  If you can find a dog pack to ski with it will force you to get better real fast.  Keeping up with the boys will make you push your limits, both physically and mentally.

    good luck

  2. pretty good i dont think it could change a lot u kinnda need to actually see more than a pic to know about that persons form

  3. Would need to actually see you ski to get a real idea.

From that shot it does look like you are a little 'up' in your stance but not really that bad.

    I've seen a lot worse.

  4. I think you look OK, but I agree that you're up a little high.

I would also like to see a bit more flex in your left arm. It would be better for us if we could see you on some more challenging terrain, or on a video.
