SKY + BOX question?

I recorded a programme recently on my sky + box, & i was just wandering , is there any way i can transfer this video, on to my computer without using stuff like a vcr or watever

i was just thinking about this because, at the bottom right (front) of the machine, is like a little flap, open it & you can see the card thing on the left of it there will be a usb slot

if this isnt meant for connecting to a computer then what is it for??

im not sure, try putting a usb stick in there and seeing what happens
