My husband has a coin that is the size of a poker chip. It is silver and has sort of a rim on it like a poker chip but its an off white and red stripe the whole way around the coin. On the one side it says value 1000.00$ and on the other side it says snap-on Tools. Anyone ever heard of this?

  1. it is more likely to be a $1000 chip out of a set made by snap-on tools that holds no monetary value. if it was real it would most likely be from a casino- not a tools manufacturer.

  2. It's basically a $1000 coupon allowing you to save that much on your next purchase of Snap-on tools.  It's in the shape of a poker chip so that it stands out from offers from other tool companies.

There's probably some minimum purchase, like $10,000, that you have to make before you can use it.  Or maybe it's 10% off on any purchase up to $10,000, which would come out to a total of $1000 off.  I bet it's as legit as any other coupon.

It has no monetary value except to someone in the market for some tools.

  3. i looked on the web site i couldn't find any promo's where did the chip come from email snap on for more info
