SNOOKER: why is there no ranking event in australia or canada?

well while I don't know the exact reason, I'll put up a few posibilities (in order of least likely to most likely):

1. (my wise *** answer)  There's no one there worth having one for (not likely)

2.  As a formor commonwealth of the UK you're expected to partake in one there.

3.  There is one it's just that you don't know about it.

4.  No one has bothered to organize one.
