so i finally got my toe edge, but i have a problem: when i transition from my heel edge on to my toe, i turn around (like where i'm facing uphill) and then keep on turning to where i've made a complete 360 degree turn...i want to be able to transition to toe from heel and then go BACK to heel, instead of doing a 360...how do i do that?

  1. after you finish your toe turn, come off your toes and let the board straiten (flatten out) and then go into the heel turn. wen done with the heel turn let the board do the same thin, come off your heel edge, and let the board straiten out

  2. Not pretty simple though, Takes 2 hours to learn.  Establish your sense of heel side and toe side balance FIRST.  Then you turn ur waist slightly picking up speed then back to either a toe slide or heel side.  Eventually after 4 runs on each you will get a hang of it. But remember to always keep an edge.  Take it slow.,, and don't develop bad habits.  This is the best method since it worked for me!! Focus on your transition on balance BEFORE you make it down the hill switching... What may seem easy to others is because they have developed that sense of balance.

It only took me one day from going on the bunny hills falling a hundred times then the black diamonds = )

  3. just shift your weight and kick your back leg in front of u. swing your arms to get a little more...idk the word...leverage
