SNOWBOARDS! HELP! please?

i'm thinking about buying a NItro T1. I got a really great dealon it and it's brand new. Is it a good board?

  1. Nitro makes a good board.  I learned to ride on a Target Repeat wide.


  2. Well it depends on the materials it's made of and where you are buying it. Some snowboards that are cheap must have SOME reason to be priced like that. But if you are a high level rider, i suggest trying it on a beginners hill so you dont hurt yourself thinking it's great. If you get one at Kmart, then most likely it will be a piece of c**p. Try high end stores with a large selection of boards. And if you really like the Nltro T1 then it's worth taking a chance. You can always return it if it doesn't meet your standards.

  3. The only way to tell is to pick it up and see how it feels.  I like a light board that has good flex but isn't too flexible that it will break. I could care less what brand it is.

  4. If you can get it for less that $350 you're probably not getting a "deal on it". I know the T1 was voted one of the top ten boards to buy in 2005 by snowboarding.com. I can only imagine that the technology has only gotten better.
