  1. The Earth Is Much Warmer.

  2. It's closed.  Check the news, dweeb.

If only it were true, Tuba.

"It's also a good example of how they can solve a global problem"

We outlawed certain CFC's but the level of these CFC's NEVER went down.

China and Russia and Mexico are producing more than ever.  Due to the "flywheel effect" the levels are STILL increasing and yet the ozone hole closed.

There is not a cause/effect relationship between CFC's and the ozone hole.

  3. So far it has had no effects on my life whatsoever.

  4. It's closed:)

  5. idk if im believe in global warming im just a kid but i beleive the polar icecaps are melting!

  6. It helped with my tan while it was still around, i'm going to miss it.

  7. It is doing just fine.. It is mostly closed.. scientists say it has self -healed. Another warning that was wrong! I have found that most people do not know the difference between an active vulcano and an eruption! They are totally different and it is the active vulcano that is making over 96% of our greenhouse gases! The CO2 and SO2 problem is very much do to these undersea and above ground active vulcanoes. Mostly, the scare about greenhouse gas is two fold.. it is political and it is a coverup! We learn that when we research the facts, such as.. Mt. St. Helen erupts and spews more greenhouse gas than all the vehicles in the US make for a full year! Just one vulcano! Science should contain all the facts so that we can say no to deceptions! Earl

  8. Despite common belief, global warming isn't as big as it seems. Indeed we do need to change our ways, but the ocean would be the first and biggest indicator and no it -wouldn't- be it rising, it would be a temperature change. Which there has been none.

.......what hole in the ozone anyway? :P The Earth's magnetic field is the main thing that protects us, and I highly doubt "global warming" is going to affect the Earth's core.

  9. no effects on my life yet

  10. The ozone hole was a threat in the 1970's, the appropriate steps were taken internationally, the hole began to close as was hoped.  It should be entirely closed in another decade or so.  I'm not sure what your point is supposed to be.  It's a good example of how humans can cause a global problem.  It's also a good example of how they can solve a global problem, if they act within their window of opportunity.

  11. right now it's basically normal i guess....but i do believe in global warming

  12. its still there every winter;

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/200...

it closes up in the spring and opens in the winter. the ozone layer above the arctic thins out in our winter too, and still is. i understand it will take more than a decade for the phenomenum to comletely cease, maybe as much as 50 years.

i dont know about the arctic ozone this year, but the sun feels quite harsh when it is shining. it polished off 2 inches of snow in a couple of hours here the other day.

  13. is this a question on global warming? if it is, i dont feel anything
