  1. i doubt itll be rewarding and non-stressful, itll be one or the other

  2. The human services/mental health field tends to have a high burn out rate as with nursing.  One may need at least an associate's degree for social work assistant, mental health aide or such and a bachelor's degree for mental health technician, psychiatric technician or such.  The job may be rewarding, but I don't know that there are any such jobs in mental health that are not stressful :)

    For general career/job info:  http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'social and human service assistants' or such.

    Perhaps do some volunteer work.  For possible opportunities:  http://www.volunteermatch.org and can type zip code and area(s) of interest.

  3. They are challenging.  They are also good if you make it a good job for you.  Caring jobs I find are quite good so do it. Great pay.

    If you are searching for a care job I suggest you use;

    or

    and

  4. The job is not particular well paid and is likely to be highly stressful.
