  1. In indian breakfast you will not find variety apart from idli and parantha

  2. maggii

  3. The simplest indian breakfast is the great Uppuma.

When I mean simplest it means you donot have to make preparations right from the previous day night like you do for Iddly, dosa etc.,

It takes about 10-15 min to get things ready to unload it from the stove.

It is made of rava (broken wheat)

You can find the receipe for that from any site in the net  but I am listing it anyway.

    Ingredients

    Cooking oil (1 tablespoons)

    Mustard seeds (1 teaspoon)

    Cumin seeds (1 teaspoon)

    Ginger root (Grated)

    Green chillies (chopped fine)

Chopped onions (some people may omit this for cultural reasons)

    Grated coconut

    Wheat Rava (Semolina)

    Salt to taste

Vegetables of choice: Peas, carrots, eggplant, potatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, Tomato may all be used

    method

    1. Roast the rava on a tawa till it is hot. Empty it to a plate

    2. Put some oil on a tawa and heat it.

    3. When vapours start comming form the oil, put mustards, urd dhal, chillies, curry leaves and fry them

    4. Add water the above (2measures of oil for one measure of rava)

    5. Add salt to taste

    6. Slowly add the roasted rava to the above and keep stirring.

    7. Put the stove in simm mode till the water evaporates.

    8. Swithch off and serve after 5 min

  4. idly, dosa, puri ,paratta,roti...you can have any side dish

  5. Bhai saab...subah subah aloo-pyaz ke paranthe hon aur us ke upar dher saara makhan ho...aur saath mein dahi ho to din safal ho jaata hai ;) heavy ho sakta hai kuch logon ke liye :))
