My dog is pretty old. I just noticed this weird lump in her belly next to her nipple. There is also a little red sore next to the lump. it does not hurt her because she lays on it, and she let me and my mom see and touch it. It feels hard and lumpy (not hard like a rock). SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP MY DOG!! =[

  1. It might be a tumor. Old dogs are pretty prone to tumors, you should get it checked out by a vet. My dog recently had a tumor removed and it was benign and he's perfectly healthy now.

  2. Possibly a tumor, best bet would be to take her to a vet for a checkup and possibly some tests.

  3. Unfortunatly the only thing you can do for your dog is to take her to the vet. She could have cancer, or it could be something as simple as a growth or it could be an infection. But either way she needs to go to the vet to get it checked out. the vet will tell you what needs to be done, they may take it off if it is just a harmless growth.

          Good Luck!

  4. its a tumer or calsum depossit

  5. It may not be a tumor!! my dog is old in age, and has a lumpy thing like that to, it may be just a cist. just to make sure, you may want to take it to the vet, we took our dog to the vet just to make sure, they drew fluid from it and she was okay. if you find that it is just a non hurtful cist, do not remove it! theres a high chance it could grow back if you remove it. so don't worry, it might not be a tumor, because my dog let's us touch it and look at it, if it is a non hurtful cist, then its common for dogs of old age.
