SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!?

Question

I have recently purchased a webcam and an advent camera memory card usb (all in one card reader) Neither have come with a disk.

When i plug in the camra it reads in the right corner of the screen "Found new hardware click here to unstall" ,, i do so .. then it says "no software is found" i have tried d/l it off the internet but it still doesn't find it when i search.

As for the card reader it reads when i plug it in at the corner of the screen "has not installed property may not work effectively"

What can i do to install them :(

these 2 devices have the same problem. which is driver files

before this devices will work, they need to communicate properly to your computer like a common language that they understand, which is a driver file.

solution for the problem:

when you purchase the webcam and the card reader, there should be a disc that goes together with it,

install the cd first, after properly installing it, plug in the webcam and the webcam should install by itself. if not just follow the instructions that it will ask you.

if there is no disc, look for the website on your webcam, like at the bottom or something, there should be like www.mywebcam.com (or whatever the brand is), go to that website and download the necessary driver files for your webcam. (the same with your card reader)

Control panel>>>Add HARDWARE >>>install from specific location?>>Browse to the location of Cd rom nd then just press Next

Then find d new device you have plugged,make sure you have connected it then  double click on device nd on last install driver

OR

you can simply install the driver either from autoplay option or by browsing the Cd nd selecting the driver

usually you have to install the software, not just download it.

if you want help you should give details on your computer and the hardware you are trying to use. operating system, model numbers etc.
