Godddddddddddddddd

okay so if you read some of my other questions, i have really bad stomach aches in the lower regions of my bowels

My doctor just rights it of as constipation

he gave me some laxatives with stool softener

but i still got sick every day.

CT scans, blood tests, urine samples, and an upper GI came up with nothing

so i've been mapping it out

and i realized that these happen when my bowels are moving.

even if I'm not constipated

every SINGLE time before i have to go to the bathroom

i get these horrible god forsaken stomach aches

like right now - which means i am unable to take laxatives or i scream to the heavens in unholy pain

like right now.

i eat plenty of fiber, and avoid red meats. I avoid cheeses and other foods that may constipate me.

i do frequently get constipated, but only for 3-4 days.

These stomach aches are tremendous and i need answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!someone help, because my doctor wont

I'm 13, so i have no control over trying to get referred to GI specialist, changing, ect.

he put on belladonna and phenobarbital for pain because at one point he thought my stomach was spasming

but i've realized nothing else triggers it

foods dont - drinks dont - medicine doesn't

just when i have to go to the bathroom, i get em

I WANT TO DIE OVER IT! I CANT TAKE IT!!!!!!! Please, someone. i need answers and i need them now. any homemade remedies, any thoughts of what it could be

oh yea - and he put on nexium too, and that does help decrease the pain level, however, i still have the pain. please, i need help. anything. ask around, contact me. email me. myspace me, what ever, just help

  1. I am a doctor, email me i need to know more but then i could try and diagnose u.

  2. If the pain is in your lower abdomen and it hurts just before a bowel movement, then whatever is wrong is in the descending colon or r****m.  That would be VERY easy to scope out and have a look at.  Age 13 is young for this, but not unheard of.  Ask for a colonscopy or a proctoscopy.  Have someone actually go in there and LOOK at the lining of your colon and see if there is something going on.

I have Ulcerative Colitis and had similar symptoms starting in about high school.  No one thought to take a look inside me until I was 31 years old.  Everyone kept telling me it was "anxiety" or "stress" or all in my  head.  Yeah, right.

    Good luck.

  3. ask for a referral they can  not refuse to send one........

have you tried amitripaline?  this is good for people with bowel problems, you may also need investigative work thought a camera being inserted up your rear end. just to make sure there is nothing sinister going on.

just TELL your doctor you WANT a referral .

  4. TELL YOUR PAENTS!! I MEAN CANT THEY SEE YOU ARE IN THIS PAIN?? THEY SHOULD BE SORRY AND GET ANOTHER DOCTOR FOR YOU IMMEDIATLY!!

  5. You may be allergic to a  food you are eating . Start keeping a food diary and write down everything you eat. You may notice patterns between what you eat and the occurrence of pain. I would suspect either wheat or milk.

  6. How much water are you drinking? When you say you eat lots of fiber, what kind is it? Vegetables? Fruits? Grains? If you want something that will soften things up and move things through it will be fruits. Think of vegetables as building blocks and fruits as cleansers (they both can act as fiber, cleaning you out, but fruit really works well really fast, if you don't believe me, try eating too much at a time and you get diarrhea). Try increasing your water intake and your fruit intake. You should be drinking at least 8 glasses of 8 ounces of water a day. You might avoid drinking soda as well. soda can dehydrate you and if you are having a problem with constipation you are having a problem with enough water in your body. soda can't really be used in your body as hydration. It takes so much to process what is in soda that your body can't use the water in it. so that might help as well.

The next thing I would try is keeping a food log--including all the liquid you drink--to take to your doctor. You need to show your doctor how well you are eating so the doctor will take you more seriously. and keep telling your doctor. Don't stop. You are your best advocate. You know how it feels, so don't give up. good luck
