SOMEONE HELP PLEASEmy dad has a severe gag reflex and he just got dentures. is way to get him hypnotized?

my dad has a severe gag reflex and he just got dentured a couple months ago and its still bad. its hard to watch i feel so bad for him. anyways the gag reflex is causing him to not be able to eat when he puts the (btw just top deture he got) in all he thinks about is throwing up. andhe feels nautious so he cant even wear them for 10 mins. this is a coouple months later still bad.i was thinking that i could find a hypnotist somewhere that could make him belive he doesnt have it anymore . so he can live and eat nomally. i feel so bad for him. or are there otherways to get rid of a gag reflex?!??!? SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

His teeth are not made correctly. The dentist needs to try and adjust them for him. If this doesn't work he could consider getting dental implants because then his pallet won't be covered and they can make the teeth shorter off back which causes the gagging feeling.

What is happening to your Dad is actually a common problem that people are not warned about when they get their teeth pulled and get dentures. Often people cannot wear dentures because of this problem and end up just going without them. Dentures fit only as good as the dentist or lab that created them. If a poor dentist is chosen and a inferior lab then the teeth will not stay in place.  Or they are too long.

He paid for these have him go back to the dentist and insist on something done to help him. Hypnosis isn't the answer going back to the dentist is.
