  1. Take him to a vet if you can.If you can't, start giving him a calcium and vitamin D supplement made especially for reptiles.Ask at your local pet store.Make sure the animal is fed gut - loaded crickets ( feed them a special calcium -enriched cricket food) and other insects, and buy a full spectrum UV light. If you can,put the chameleon outside in a screened enclosure ( never glass - it will cook it!) so it can get some natural sunlight. You could use a bird cage with some branches for him to bask on,and provide a water source.Natural sunlight is best. Good luck.

Edit: be sure to mist your chameleon several times a day wheile he is basking,so that he does not get dehydrated. They like to drink from droplets that run down their faces.

  2. buy a uvb light!!!!!immediatly take him to the vet as well he needs bone marrow injections

  3. Fix your husbandry,

I'm guessing from the fact that he got an MBD, you probably has not been taking care of him properly (or has been told wrong stuffs by people who know nothing about chameleons).

The only way is by going to the exotic vet, and get a calcium injection (NOT a Bone marrow injection.. sigh).

Get a reptisun 5.0 UVB LINEAR tube (nota compact one, and not reptiGLO either).

And start supplementing your chameleon with Repcal with D3, MinerAll 0, and herptivite.

    Go to this site:

    http://chamworld.blogspot.com

Go to the blog archive (white box on the right side)

and read ALL the january sections for basic cares. I also wrote a chapter for MBD.

Good luck. I hope your guy will be able to pull through.

  4. vet for a d3 injection up the calcium suppliments in its deit check your uv light (they only give off uv for 6-8 months just cause there still showing visible light doesnt mean there's uv) check your uv light is close enough to a basking spot (6" is the recommened distance) check u have the correct uv %

remember uv is blocked by glass plastics and fine mesh
