It was this really wierd state. I thought I was going to die. my brain felt like it was throbing like a heart beat .crazyy. but then I was sleeping at a friends house and it happend again but before it does its like I kind of choose to do it. like my brains like "you sure?" and be thinking "ok what will happen lets go". but then when i do im like nooo but then I cant get out and then I wake up gasping for air and sweating. weirddd

its happend 3 times. but then i can just lay down and try and make it happen and I feel it coming on but then ill wake up before it does. its really scary

I have to try really hard to make it stop it never stops on its own. i really wonder what will happend if i let it go all the way...

  1. Sounds a lot like sleep paralysis. It's not particularly dangerous, although it can be frightening. If it bothers you a lot, go talk to your doctor about it.

  2.   Please see a dr  asap.. sounds like a seizure of some kind You don t want it to happen when your  driving or walking in the mall. Talk w/ mom or dad  and they l want you to see a dr too I would if you were my child  GL

  3. It sounds as though you are suffering from sleep paralysis and are starting to awake before  it disappears and panicking about it, forcing yourself to fully awake.

It is a harmless phenomenon but quite scary when you experience it.

I,m giving you a link for more information.

    3.Am I having a nightmare

4.Is the heat on in my house

Answering those questions may help or it may just be that you are having stroke cuz if it a heart attack u may be dead!

    Good Luck

  5. you might want to go to the doctors...anything drastic happen in the past month??? death of a family member or maybe even a really long time ago...someone you were close too.

  6. It is most likely sleep paralysis, looking at the conditions above, yeah. Hope this helps!

  7. sounds like a panic attack. The panting and sweating, and the wierd state, plus the fear of heart attack and all that are all signs of a panic attack. I get them too.

  8. I can relate.

This is definitely sleep paralysis. It usually happens when your mind is very active but your body is very tired. Your body will fall asleep, but your mind will be awake, thus putting you into sleep paralysis. When you sleep, your body shuts down with the brain, just imagine your brain being left on while you are watching your body sleep.

Its not dangerous and I used to have 8-10+ on and off a night for a good 2 years. I still get them once in a while, its pretty annoying moreso than scary or anything.

So don't worry, and if you are still worried, go see a doctor, and he/she will see if anything could be wrong.
