Yeah i can assure you its enough lol I have a 40gb for over a year and i have done so much with it and i still have ALOT of space left... 80gb will be pleanty for you.

It depends on what you want to do with it. For the purpose of playing games, storing game data, even installing games (to run faster) and copying videos off your network or downloading HD movies (rent or buy) from Playstation Network it will be more than enough. Can it archive innumerable movies and music, probably not. Think of a 80 GB iPod. There is a limit to movies and music you can store on it. It is quite the same.

Yes 80gb is definitly enough space for you.  This is the biggest ps3 size about at the moment and you can get some good deals.  I've just bought a ps3 80gb + MGS 4 game for £299, I found the deal on a ps3 comparion site below.  hope this helps.

they even seller some PS3's with lower GB and those won't run out either
