SONY cyber-shot DSC S500 Camera problem?

I have a sony cyber-shot dsc s500 camera and for some reason it is very out of focus and the pictures are very blurry. the lens cap isnt working and the part of the camera which takes the picture sticks out as if it is zoomed all the way out. any helppp on how to fix it?

Obviously the lense is broken.  Unfortunately, repairs aren't cheap.  It's time to buy a new camera.
