we have this new video camera, it's a sony, and it's the kind that uses those miniature dvd disc type things. the problem is, after i fill up a disc, when i put it on my computer it doesn't read. i think the disk is -R, but i'll have to check that later, i'm pretty sure it is though. anyway, how do i get the media off of the disk if my computer can't read it?

  1. Contact Sony support!! Live help will walk you through it.

  2. Does your computer have a DVD drive? Some computer's optical drives read ONLY CDs.

If your computer's drive does read DVDs, then rip the video using HandBrake

    You may also need ISOBuster.

Warning: Video quality from a DVD based camcorder is not very good.
