Question

What are some ways to stop littering at school

besides recycling bins, punishment if someone is caught littering,

but do you have any other ideas?

Create student litter awareness

1.  Educate students about littering and how bad it is. If you want to take it even a step further, you can become a guest speaker about the impact littering has on the environment.

2.  Create a website about the environment. Gather a bunch of statistics and fast facts to make it interesting. If you do not know how to make a real website, just use a blog.

3.  Form a community service group. You can help with picking up litter. If you want, you can also erase graffiti and plant trees.

4.  Write a letter to the government about using less packaging, because they are more pieces likely to become litter, or about using more environmentally friendly production methods or material.
