wat is the best way to get tips???

i didn't even know that you were supposed to tip at sonic.  ask your boss to put up some signs that say tips gratefully accepted or something

or you could just ask each customer what you have to do to get a tip out of them.  that would get you some dirty answers

Just be really nice and friendly, the same way anyone gets tips....

I have read that if a waitress touches the customer, causally on the shoulder, it increases tips.  Other than that just be nice efficient and hard working.

megan i'm a sucker for a smile but the one reason i tip is because the way a person treats me attentive and polite service goes along way but watch out their are tightwads out thier those who go looking for a cheap trick!! plus those nasty  far# knocker man !!

Smile and be friendly.  If that doesn't work stand there and strare at them after you hand them your food.

when i was visiting my aunt and uncle in chandler arizona for vacation this past february i went to the sonic up the road everyday. i always let the car hope keep my leftover change.

Not many people want to tip when they are only getting a 5 dollar meal if your wanting good tips you should try working at a sit down restraunt

Sonic is a fast food restaurant. No one should have to tip anyone. Sorry to burst your bubble. I have even talked to managers about this before and they say no tips are needed. You get paid by the hour.  It's really no different than working at Mcdonald's except that you bring food out.  Carl's Jr does the same thing and they don't get tips either. n
