SPAN KINS Legal or not?

Can a non custodial parent like a "boyfriend or girl friend " physically disciple a child like giving a span kin if they are not the biological parent

in the state of California? Is this consider child abuse

im pretty sure if you got the parents permission you can spank them, just as long as you dont bruise them or inflict surius injuryies like breaking a bone of course

Well I dont know why this question is in the fish section?

But I would believe it is entirely on the biological parent. If they give you permission to discipline their child I'm sure its legal as long as you only use the force necessary.

If however they are against it then yes it can be considered child abuse in most parts of the world.
