  1. in the USA they teach us the spanish spoken in mexico and they don't go into great detail about the spanish spoken in spain.  all i know is that they conjegate in another tense (if that makes any sense)

  2. Just like english in England is somewhat different than in the US or Australia. Each country pretty much has some words that mean something different. But regardless of what country you go, they will understand any version of spanish you may know. Like, in Spain, the letter 'c' before an 'e' sounds like a 'Z', while in all the other hispanic countries (that I know of), it sounds like an 'S', but that's about it.

  3. All spanish speaking countries have different ways to speak

like in some places car is carro and in others it is choche. Those are the differences also in some it is TOTALLY different...I had a teacher who learned in costa rica and a teacher who learned in Spain, and it was really different. Then i had one who learned in Mexico and it was even more  different, so confusing!

  5. Its relatively the same, with an accent, some small difference in the use of certain words. The Spanish also use "voz" and words like "vozotros" and "teneis" (or something like that).

  6. yes.  think about it like comparing British English with American English or Australian English.  they are different dialects but still understandable to each other.  so if you want to learn Spanish to go to Spain, i would recommend trying to learn Spanish from a teacher from Spain/ a program made in Spain.  you will still understand people there if you learn Spanish from a different country though.

  7. Yes, the Spanish in Spain is different from the Spanish in Latin American countries. They speak Castellano and we speak Hoopla.
