SPEED CONTROL ON KITCHENAID MIXER

THE UNIT GOES INTO HIGH SPEED FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN SHUTS OFF. EVEN IF THE KNPB IS ON SLOW SETTING. I REPLACED THE SPEED CONTROL CIRCUT BOARD AND IT DID NOT HELP. THANKS,BRIAN
