  1. Your screensaver will not give you virus warnings, it is most likely someone has put it there as a practical joke.

Right click on your desktop> properties(or go through control panel), and change your screensaver to something else

  2. usually these are tricks to actually get spyware on your computer. they will give you a trial, only to discover you have new spyware this program conviniently ignores, then tells you you have to buy the full version to get rid of it. Biggest scam in history. I would suggest getting spyware doctor, its the best there is and you wont have to worry anymore.

  3. This is a program trying to scare you into installing their spyware program, this program is spyware in itself so do not click on any links to download anything ok. If you want to get rid of this problem you can use this spyware program (http://www.superantispyware.com)  This is a very good and reliable spyware program and it is free so give it a try. I know from experience that it does work. This spyware program protects the computer from (spyware, malware, adware, trojan horses, and some computer worms) But not computer viruses, you would have to get an antivirus program to get rid of viruses, don't get confues with viruses and spyware as they are totally different and use different program of protection to get rid of them. So click on the link to install and run a scan right away. Good Luck now get started.

  4. Of course - it's a trick to get you to download a spyware scanner that really is the spyware itself.  security software hasn't gotten to the point where we have a single program for both viruses and spyware.  Go to CNet - they have downloads for free or trial software specific to spyware.

My guess is that the spyware came with the screensaver.  Did you install the saver (was it an .exe file) or did you just download an scr file?)

  5. Assuming you use windows: good thing using antivirus. Other way, right click on desktop, go to "screen saver" and change your screen saver. Do "preview" and click ok. Now see if it's still there!

  6. there is a system restore tool in windows. Restore the computer to an earlier date than the infection. That should help.

(after that turn off system restore and turn if on again, that will remove the entries of the virus from the system restore backup)

  7. try ccleaner or adaware
