SR22- State of California, Can anyone tell me....?

How long you must keep a SR22 on file for 2 DUI's?

Can you make a One time Payment for a Non Vehicle Owner?

Do you have to pay a monthly fee for 3 years or what ever the time you have to carry the SR22 on file?

Any or all information will be greatly appreciated.

I just paid $417. to get started and was told I had to pay $51. per month for the next 3 yrs? Is this sounding about right?

I do not own a vehicle.

You will have to keep an SR-22 on file for 3 years from the date of the latest one-chances are that will also cover the needed time on the first one.

You don't have to pay monthly-contact your insurance carrier to pay annually if that is your wish.
