SSC Napoli keen to lure Juventus striker Amauri during summer transfer window – Serie A news
Juventus’ Brazilian striker Amauri is reckoned to be on his way to SSC Napoli as the Azzurri are keen to acquire the 30-year-old hitman in the 2011 summer transfer window.
The striker, who is currently on loan to Parma, is one of the hottest prospects in the upcoming transfer window.
In fact, it is not just the Neapolitans who are interested in buying the forward, but other big names at the Serie A including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 are also considering making an offer for the striker. The striker is seen by most as a great reinforcement
for the Champions League campaign next season.
The deal is reckoned to be very much likely to happen as Amauri does not intend to go back to Turin while Juve are also keen to sale out the striker.
On the other hand, Napoli look upon the forward as a perfect match alongside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 will also be attracted by the idea of playing in the Champions League as
a protagonist for the Azzurri.
The reports cannot be referred to as rumours as the striker himself admitted on an Italian radio channel that he might consider Napoli as an option.
Amauri said, “Napoli? The Champions League excites all players as it is obvious that it is. If we estimate the de Laurentiis is a true privilege. Nothing is certain, but still statements weigh in before the transfer market like boulders.”
The price tag for the forward would be a great bargain for the Neapolitans as it can be somewhere around the 10-million-euro mark- very less as compared to the 25 million Euros that Juventus had to pay for the striker three years ago.
Amauri would be passed on straight to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 without any intervention by the Old Lady and Juve will be able to invest more in the transfer market. The striker earns 4 million Euros a year and this might be the only problem that will be of concern for the
Blues.
