Question:

SSH tunnel slave computer question?

I would like to slave an old Pentium 1 CPU to my router to act as an SSH for while I'm at school. My ISP is 400 kb/s up and 6000 kb/s down.

I am wondering if the lousy amount of RAM would gridlock the process (despite the fact that the upload speed is really the only thing that matters)?

If this is so, can I slave that computer such that only the internet is pushed through? I am fairly new to hosting SSH so I haven't got all the details.
