  1. don't forget about all the rice consumed in Northern Italy.  Beans (legumes), tomatoes, eggplant, etc lots of veggies are also consumed in Italy

  2. If you need to write about food and weather I would suggest you to divite Italy into North and South dishes. Rice is traditional in the North like, for example polenta. In the South they grow tomatoes and there is more fish. Hope these are useful hints.

  3. pasta!

first, what are the Italian staple foods?  pasta is a major staple, it is made from durum wheat or semolina flour.  so how does Italian weather affect these crops?

  4. i'm italian!

    yourself advice

    spaghetti (pasta)

    pizza

  5. Staple means the basics. Like American staples are: potatoes, rice, corn...things that we eat daily and rely on. For Italians...maybe it's polenta....or olives for olive oil...how does the weather in Italy affect these crops? Great Luck..!!
