I just started working at Starbucks and i know how many shots and pumps of syrup go into the tall, grande, and venti size, but how many shots and pumps of syrup go into the SHORT size?

also, what is the correct order of ingredients for the following drinks (since i already know the correct number of shots and syrup pumps):

-Mocha

-Latte

-Cappuccino

-Caramel Macchiato

those seem to be the most popular at the Starbucks i work at. Your input is greatly appreciated !

  1.  Caramel Macchiato is one of the basic drink on Starbucks menu, ingredients that are used for this drink are as follows:

    - 3 Fresh Brewed Shots of espresso

    - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    - 2 Tablespoons Caramel Sauce

    - 1 cup whole milk

Fresh shots of espresso and caramel sauce can be poured  together into the serving mug. In order to get the aromatic effect, add the vanilla to the mixture and stir.

In order to make the iced latte you need the following ingredients:

    # Milk: 2%, whole, skim, whatever you prefer

    # Fresh brewed espresso, at least two shots

    # Starbucks original syrup, or sugar

    # Ice, preferably smaller cubes

    # Tall glass or travel mug if on the go

    # Straw

2-3 squirts of flavored syrup into the cup/mug shall be enough to sweeten the caffeinated drink.

  2.  You can't standardize the syrups or the shots. I have worked at several coffee shops and how you measure the syrups and how many shots go into each drink varies.

As far as the mocha and latte's go put some milk in first. If you don't do this it will ruin the shots, and may burn any syrup you may put in it.

Cappuccino: you put the milk and or foam on top of the shots.

In carmel macchiato's you put vanilla on the bottom, then your milk, then you "stain" the top with your shots. DO NOT MIX! Then layer the top with carmel.
