STATE FAIR - Meadowlands NJ - TWO QUESTIONS?

Just visited the fair and I have two questions...

1. They had a Kangaroo in a small cage 5' fence / no roof. It could have EASILY hopped out but it looked like it was drugged. They even had a sign that said "I'm ok, just sleeping!" Did they cut it's tendon or drug it or adopt an injured animal that they know cannot jump?

2. Saw the hypnosis show- very impressive. About 10 people responded to post hypnotic suggestions with trigger key words- one started dancing; another started singing- others acted as if they were grabbed. My question is, is this for real or were they planted actors- he widdled down the participants for 30 to 10. They did not look like actors- they looked like a random mix of fair goers but it is hard to believe- they reacted convincingly to his trigger words- hard to tell if they were faking or not.

I have actually had post hypnotic suggestions performed on me before and it is so crazy!  They really do work. You don't know what is going on or why everyone is laughing at you!

Any good stage hypnotist will start out with many volunteers, and  though the testing they do, they will whittle down to the best and most willing to participate people of the group.

So, more than likely, they were not "plants" or actors like you suspected.

And yes, hypnosis works, I won't go into details, as that's for another question.
