I am on the pill and I know that when your on the pill it increases the thickness of your discharge. And i have also had UTI before and there is no pain with urinating its just uncomfortable, so i dont think its that. Also the discharge has no smell, so I don't know whether not it could be a possible STD. But the whiteness continues up into my v****a and when i try and get it off. It wont come off its like it on the walls. :S Is that a fungus like Yeast, Because I use to think I had a yeast infection because it was itchy and I had the discharge. But it went away when i was off the pill. And now I'm back on and it started again! Its just embarrassing telling my mother i need to see a Gynecologist. I'm 17 BTW. So if anyone would help with what it might be! Hopefully its not an STD : (

Help please!

  1. usually yeast infection smelling, could be step b strep(bateria) or std.

  2. Don't be embarassed. It sounds like yeast. It can be caused by hormonal changes, antibiotics...all sorts of things.  It is not caused by sexual transmission. Get an over the counter yeast cream and try that. Use the whole week long product, don't get the one day or three day treatment, they don't work as well.  If the symptoms don't go away after that, then go see the doctor.  Yeast can make a white coating like that....

  3. Sounds like yeast.  Don't be embarrassed to tell your mom.  She's probably had them before too.

  4. combination ,

  5. Uncomfortable urination is a symptom of a UTI.  You may also have a yeast infection.  I would suggest going to your doctor.  If you can't do that or refuse to do that, there are test strips for both UTIs and yeast infections at the store you can buy over the counter.  Either way, you should see a doctor to make sure you get treated properly.  You might need a different pill.
