  1. yeah this is all very vague for all questions and topics above go to the gyn thats kinda what they do. or if your just asking?? go to webmd no matter what people say on here, we kinda can't help you we aren't doctors.

  2. If it is herpes, you need to check on a csection.  If you have an outbreak when you are about to give birth

  3. this is a very vague question so impossible to give a helpful answer. depends on which std, how far along the pregnancy is ...   syphilis and hiv can have bad effects on pregnancy, chlamydia and hpv not much problem at all

  4. I knew someone that had HPV and had a healthy little boy. STDs that are easily treatable, the treatments won't have really any effect on the baby. The OB/GYN will make sure to prescribe an anti-biotic that isn't harmful while pregnant. Other things such as AIDS and herpes can be transfered to the baby depending on how the baby is born, meaning whether it's vaginally born or through a C-section.

  5. not sure buh i think the std gets carried on to the baby?

  6. There is treatment for every STD that is generally harmless during pregnancy. The more common (gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis) are bacterial infections that are treated by antibiotic that have had no harm done to unborn babies. There are more complications when there is no treatment at all. If this happens, then some infections can spread to the baby, but it usually happens during child birth.
