STILL no HORSE riding/EQUESTRIAN cat. so I'm racing to say goodbye .......?

Question

Some two months ago I was one of the first people to suggest that we had an equestrian/horse riding category, rather than scroll through the Horse Racing or General Pets categories. Since then, there have been nearly 200 thumbs up and nearly as many comments asking for it, but there is STILL no new category. In my effort to lobby everybody I had 1800 points deducted from my total, leaving me with just 17. During the two months that I was using Yahoo! Answers I found on numerous occasions that I couldn't:-

a) post a reply

b) turn a page

c) go to the forum, and

d) post a suggestion, and

e) most of the facilities to click-on didn't work.

I had to put up with foul-language, bestiality and abuse whilst scrolling through replies to my own and others.

The whole points system is ludicrous - just read a few pages on the Suggestion Forum and you'll agree that so many users are dissatisfied. They will probably follow my decision to leave Yahoo! Answers and go to other Websites, where there are no trolls, no vulgarity and loads of helpful people to answer our questions. Each one of the following UK 'horsey' web-sites has loads of chat-rooms and very friendly users who are pleased to help. Most of them a free to register, so, give it a try and you will be pleasantly surprised!!!

I'm sorry you have had such a hard time. I too would like to see an equestrian sports category on YA- there are way too many non-racing related questions that get asked here. I don't live in the UK- I'm American, not British, but I think the need is the same. If you have had to put up with abuse, why didn't you report it? YA has a means of doing this- and they will take bad and obscene answers off the column. I know this, because I have filed such reports- and they have DONE this, at least once or twice for me. I hope you have a better experience elsewhere- and good luck.
