STOP!!! and answer this question.?

Question

So for my birthday, in 7 days!!, my parents are letting me redo my room.... this means painting and new what ever else i want in it. My only problem is I dont know what to to... as a theme. So here is a little info about me that might help u help me.

Colors i like are: Black, Brown, Blue, Green, orange, red... mostly and shades of these.... i'm not goth, i'm not a girly girly.... so NO PINK OR PURPLE, but i'm not a tomboy either... and i'll be 14 so PLEASE help me with my room.

Ask them if you can add a wallpaper border, they sell some that can be run around the room near the bottom, the middle, or at the top of the walls.   And there are tons of styles.

They sell them at Lowes/Home Depot.   Then do some faux finishing!!

bkue with a brown accent wall would look nice.or choclate brown with a blue accent wall.blue curtains blue comforter brown pillows and a blue area rug.

I agree with Lolly, my niece (age 14) has a zebra black and white quilt with lime green accent pillows and it looks great.  Now she did paint her walls black in the eggshell finish and it too looks great.  Not sure all  parents would go for black. For a top border near the ceiling she put up a line all around the room of cd's and they reflect light beautifully.   She has task lighting in silver around the room and it is actually very nice and reflects well.
