  1. most people don't have a problem with someone who is g*y. this question is kind of like saying, 'i have red hair but i dye it brown, but i'm planning on letting the red some out in college, but i'm worried that my roomate might have a problem with it.' if he's one of those people who just doesn't like red hair, then maybe. but you need to be who you are.

  2. well personally i say why not? although i would really warn you about someone who could be very ignorant. i went to my mom for take your child to work day one day. there was a g*y man who worked there and he was one of the nicest people i've ever met, he got along with everyone there just fine.

  3. I am straight and I don't think I would care that much. As long as I got along with you well, like with any roommate, I would be fine with it. I think it is good that you do not try and be flamboyantly g*y. Just cause your g*y doesn't mean you have to act like a girl.

The only thing I really don't like is when g*y couples adopt children. Not cool.

  4. Well i wouldn't as long as you dont do some g*y thing to me lol.

  5. I'm g*y, but as a recent college grad, I've have experience w/ multiple straight roommates. Some were cool w/ it, some weren't. My first made was your stereotypical partying straight football star. He wasn't comfortable w/ having a g*y roommate & ended up moving out. My other two straight roomates that i had during college were very cool w/ me being g*y. One of the guys even wanted me to move off campus w/ him & his gf when they decided to get an apartment off campus. I def am not a straight acting g*y guy. I have a naturally soft & feminine temperment. Anyway, I had no problems getting through college living in the dorms in a rural Pennsylvania town. Most college age guys are very casual about having a g*y friend, roommate, neighbor, etc. If you're worried or scared about how the other guys will react to you being g*y, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much of a non-issue your sexuality will be. Good luck!
