I'm 22 years old, female and i have been working as a staff nurse in a private hospital for over a year now. I really love what i'm doing but it seems that being in the medical field is very stressful. I find it difficult adjusting with our ever changing schedules. I rarely attend social gatherings because of my schedule, i rarely see my friends also. For the past months i feel so crabby, sensitive and emotional, which is leading to having problems with my boyfriend that even in smallest of things i get angry or sad. Please please can somebody help me! Give me tips on how to relieve my emotional stress. Your help is very appreciated and could save me. Thanks and God bless!

  1. Hi! wow your story sounds really similar to mine. I would suggest seeing a psychologist because you do need to learn how to better deal with stress. Thats what I have been doing and it really is helpful. Although you do have a very demanding job you do still need to find time for yourself, or else you will lose yourself in the never ending cycle of stress and depression. Maybe on days that you know u have off have a get together at your house. Your job cannot be your life, it has to be a part of it. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon :)
